My day job

I work in an acupuncture clinic owned by my uncle which helps to provide alternative health care in the form of acupuncture, kineseology, nutritional/herbal support and energy medicine. I love the field and feel like it appeachs health care in the form of treating the  entire body instead of disecting each part.  It has proven to be a tremendous help to many individuals who wre struffling with no answers from allopathic care.

I manage the office, perform facials and am studying to be a massage therapist.

My partner and I started a clothing company that focuses on social causes that both insipire the look of the line and effect our profit share.

our 'why not peace' line:

is a line that that focuses on the issue of peace. We have created shirts that say 'why not peace' in the 6 official languages of the united nations. the clothing is inspired by military fatigues from all over the world. All the profits go back to fund war torn efforts in thirld world countries.

our message:

We want to convey peace as a universal message, not one that is polarized - our intent is not to polarize the issue of peace as one that is democrat or republican.  Our hope is to depoliticize peace, and to shift the popular dialog away from the reasons for war (which are inherently political) to the reasons for peace (which can cross all political boundaries).

Thus, our simple message delivered through the t shirts - “why not peace”. We want to deliver the message in a manner that doesn't alienate anyone, because we need everyone's support. This is what ultimately can lead to lasting changes in popular attitudes and behavior which in turn can influence national/foreign policy.
